Kijana Hai Club is a structured, institutionally supervised co-curricular programme that helps learners and students discover, develop and apply their potential. It complements formal education through practical learning, leadership, innovation, mentorship, opportunity readiness and responsible community engagement.
Learning reaches further when young people can practise ideas, work with others and see how knowledge connects to real life. The Club creates an organised space for that development while respecting academic time and each institution's authority.
Children build curiosity, confidence, communication, cooperation and simple responsibility through supervised, age-appropriate activities such as reading circles, stories, creative work, team tasks and care for their environment.
Secondary students strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership and pathway awareness. They work through projects, debate, inquiry, innovation challenges and guided exposure to future opportunities.
Higher-learning students connect their studies with professional identity, research, enterprise, mentorship and applied projects. They build portfolios and use their skills to create value in professional and community settings.
Alumni can continue the journey through I CONTRIBUTE, supporting responsible mentorship and community contribution.
Learning strengthens curiosity and academic engagement. Life supports healthy and ethical development. Leadership builds responsibility and service. Innovation develops creative problem-solving. Opportunity connects participants to future pathways. Citizenship supports constructive contribution to institutions and communities.
Participants practise how to THINK, COMMUNICATE, CREATE, CONNECT, LEAD and ACT. Growth is demonstrated through repeated practice, feedback, reflection and application, rather than attendance alone.
The participating institution approves the Club, appoints a Guardian or Patron and retains authority over its learners, students and schedule. KHF provides the programme model, tools, orientation and quality support. Learner or student leaders take age-appropriate responsibilities under supervision. Parents or guardians remain involved where consent for minors is required.
An institution interested in Kijana Hai Club can contact KHF to discuss its level, needs and readiness. Establishment then follows an assessment, institutional approval, appointment of a Guardian or Patron, safeguarding checks, orientation and an approved activity plan. An enquiry does not automatically establish an active Club.
Enquire for an institutionEvery Club should provide a respectful and inclusive environment. Activities must be supervised, accessible where reasonably possible, and designed with clear reporting routes for concerns. The interests, safety and dignity of children and young people take priority over publicity or participation numbers.
