We want to know what changes for young people, not only how many attend an activity. KHF monitors participation, learning, opportunity, community action and policy engagement, then uses that evidence to improve its work and report honestly to the people and institutions involved.
When young people gain skills, reliable information and safe space to participate, they can make different choices. When communities build relationships and shared practices, individual progress becomes more durable. When evidence from that work reaches institutions and decision-makers, it can contribute to wider change.
Our results are presented with a clear period, definition and source. Where an outcome cannot yet be verified, we say so. We also share lessons and adjustments because responsible development work involves learning from what did not work as expected.
